Lilac Festival
Lilac Festival – Pine Mountain Village

Every year on the third weekend of May we celebrate our biggest annual event in Pine Mountain Village — The Lilac Festival. Festivities start on Saturday at 9:00 am beginning with Acrobatic Skydivers and followed by the Lilac Festival Parade at 11:00 am. The event continues through Sunday.

You’ll find great entertainment, music, street performers, great food, a small car show, arts and crafts booths, a golf tournament, horseshoe tournament, a quilt show, activities for children, pony rides, train rides, and even helicopter rides for a bird’s eye view of Pine Mountain Club and the spectacular San Emigdio Mountains.

Driving directions to Pine Mountain Club:

Take Interstate 5 to the Frazier Park exit. Drive west on Frazier Mountain Park Road to Mil Potrero Hwy. Follow the Lilac Festival signs to Pine Mountain Village Center.

Wine in the Pines – Pine Mountain Village

Every year in June, a wine tasting festival can be enjoyed in Pine Mountain Club, celebrating the finest California Central Coast wines. The festival takes place in Pine Mountain Village and features first class California wineries, gourmet food prepared by top chiefs, great music by local bands, and a wonderful arts and crafts show.

Join us for an afternoon of wine tasting in our beautiful mountain village. Enjoy gourmet food while you stroll through the village and view the wine art show. Stay for the silent wine auction or better yet come for the weekend. A Pro-Am Golf Tournament is planned for Saturday morning.

A special performance by the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra will begin right after the Wine in the Pines event.

Tickets can be purchased online via PayPal at the Wine in the Pines Website or at Jennings Realty in the Pine Mountain Village. Admission includes wine tasting, a Riedel logo glass, food from several chefs, the wine art show and silent wine auction.

Wine in the Pines is a non-profit event benefiting fire protection and emergency services in Pine Mountain Club. It is presented by the Pine Mountain Club Commercial Property Owners Association, Inc.

Summer Concert on the Greens – Pine Mountain Village

Stunning sunsets and the intimate setting of the Pine Mountain Club Golf Course make our summer evening concerts unlike any other event. Bring a blanket or chair and spend the evening with us. A venue of different music is offered each evening. Concerts are scheduled on Saturday evenings from the end of May through the end of August from 5:30-7:30pm at the Golf Course Driving Range. This event is free. Dinner and drinks are available for purchase. (Please no outside food or drinks.)

The Mountain Shakespeare Festival – Pine Mountain Village

The annual Mountain Shakespeare Festival is celebrated each weekend of July in the Pine Mountain Village Gazebo. Each year features new repertory productions, complete with full sets, period costumes, lights, sound effects and a cast with professional Equity actors for a vivid and memorable experience.

Run to the Pines Car Show – Pine Mountain Village

Every first Saturday in August Pine Mountain Club plays host to the annual Run to the Pines Car Show. The show is generally held on the second Saturday of August, but is subject to change. Classes and judging will be held and trophies awarded to each winner.

Fiesta Days – Frazier Park

Every August Frazier Park holds its annual Fiesta Days celebration. Festivities include a parade, a variety of bands, a carnival, vendors, a pancake breakfast, teenage and adult dances, pet show, family races and contests, the queen contest, Friends of the Library $1 book sale and a fishing derby at Frazier Park pond.

The event is sponsored by Mountain Memories, a local non-profit group that raises funds for various charities. Admission and parking are FREE.

Driving directions to Frazier Park: Take Interstate I-5 to the Frazier Park exit. Drive west on Frazier Mountain Park Road to Monterey Trail. Turn left on Monterey Trail to Park Drive.

Halloween “Trunk or Treat.” Pine Mountain Village

Join locals for a Pine Mountain Halloween Tradition….”Trunk or Treat.” Pull into a parking spot in Pine Mountain Village, open your trunk and prepare to be entertained as children go from car to car — Trunk or Treating. A fun way to spend a fall evening.

Come to enjoy the sights, sounds and magic of the Holiday Season. Food, Live Music, Vendor Booths and after the parade — Santa Claus! Mount Pinos Way in Frazier Park.

Fort Tejon – Dragoon Era 1856 Schedule

Take a step back in time and experience the daily army life of the solders and civilians in early California at Fort Tejon. At Fort Tejon California Historic Park, visitors can witness life at this U.S. Army post of the Far West. Fort Tejon was a crossroads of California’s many cultures and diverse ideas of the 1850s.  Vistors are invited to view the living history demonstrations of everyday life of the common soldier and civilian men, women and children at this Lebec mountain outpost right off interstate I-5 in the grapevine area of the Tejon Pass.

All Events are on Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Call the Fort Tejon State historic park office at (661) 248-6692 to confirm times and dates.

Fort Tejon – Civil War Battle Demonstrations and Reenactment Schedule

See the troops of the Infantry, Calvary, and Artillery from the Union and Confederate Armies at Fort Tejon.  Guided tours of the Union and Confederate camps between each battle. Other presentations are Manual of Arms, Artillery, and Civilian Life.

All mock battle demonstrations are on Sundays at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. Mock battles are approximately 30 minutes in length. Call the Fort Tejon State historic park office at (661) 248-6692 to confirm times and dates.

Fort Tejon – California’s Civil War

Commemorating the Garrison and Civilian Community of Fort Tejon during the Civil War.  Find out how California reacted to the great civil that was embroiling the rest of nation.  See how California’s lived back in the Wild West days of the California frontier.  You’ll meet soldiers and civilians that kept California in the United States of America. Fort Tejon – 1856 July 4th Celebration

Come celebrate the 4th of July in 1856. The 1856 Fourth of July celebration offers you a unique opportunity to experience a 1856 style Fourth of July celebration at this Army outpost of the era.
